The homeowner, Janet Kimber, who is also the photographer of all the sequences except Howland Avenue Kitchen, designed this anything but traditional bathroom. The showstopping floor tile mixed with the hand made subway tile add timelessness and texture.
It was important to keep it light and airy because it is a basement bathroom. By focusing black in the floor tile only, it is bold but balanced.
The marble niche in the shower and under the mirror give yet another layer of texture and depth to this room.
